Tokyo Skytree reigns the Tokyo skyline, and is visible from most of the central city. Over 600 meters tall, it is the tallest tower in the world. It has two observation decks, one at 350 meters, and one at 450 meters. The tallest point you can reach inside the tower is a special chamber 451.2meters high up in the air.
The view is amazing. And after 80 minutes in the ticket line, we got into the elevators. 600 meters/minute, straight up. The tower is only closed on the days it's too windy to operate the elevators...
We made it up JUST after sundown, and we got the view of a lifetime. In every direction, all the way to the horizon is TOKYO. And only TOKYO. Insane!
This tower is TALL. And it is SWAYING at the top. Oh, and did I mention that it has a GLASS FLOOR???
Help. Us. All...
Kawaii-San is having second thoughts...
You see that observation deck? Yeah, that's the one at 350meters...
Amazing view.
Tokyo by night...
The tallest point. Sensei-Oddeman and Kawaii-san having mirror fun!
By night! Here you can see the uppermost observation deck too!
We all survived, and even overcame some fears. We all even walked on the glass floor.... Insane.
Who the hell puts a glass floor 445 meters up? The Japanese do...
